The Montana Healthcare Foundation Brand Style Guide

WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO

The Montana Healthcare Foundation is a 501(c)3 private foundation that makes strategic investments to improve health in Montana. It provides funding, leadership, and expertise to help communities tackle Montana’s most important health problems. It conducts policy analysis so that Montanans can be well-informed and engaged in decisions that impact their health. It prioritizes supporting the health and well-being of people and communities at increased risk for poor health outcomes because of income, geographic barriers, the availability and accessibility of health and social services, and racial and ethnic disparities.

We created a style guide to inform how we, as an organization, communicate about its work in American Indian Health and the people and communities we collaborate with.

Brand Logos

The Montana Healthcare Foundation’s logo portrays enrichment, growth, and positivity.

The design symbolizes the Bitterroot, Montana’s State Flower. The interlocking petals symbolize the importance of connection and partnerships. The brand colors communicate warmth, a connection to the environment, and the variety of Montana’s landscapes.

These versions of the logo are best used for electronic purposes. If you need a logo version for a print project, or an approved variation of the logo, please contact Melinda.

This horizontal logo should be used whenever possible.

Brand Typography

The Montana Healthcare Foundation’s brand font is Poppins. It was selected to reflect our evolving brand personality and for easy readability. Use this font whenever possible.

If you are working in Microsoft Office, use Century Gothic instead as it is close to the Poppins esthetic and available in Microsoft Office.

Font for Staff: Century Gothic

For staff everyday use – including in Word documents and PowerPoint presentations – we recommend using Century Gothic. This look and feel of this font is similar to the Poppins design font and is easily accessibly in Microsoft Office.

Photo Assets

We use photography that accurately and positively portrays people living and thriving in Montana.

Through photography, we try to convey the breadth of Montana scenery and the diversity of people living in the state. We prefer candid photos that are bright and colorful. The images we use are positive and do not negatively portray any person or area of the state.
