Missoula Supportive Housing Collaborative

Project Term: 12 months; Ended 2019
Grant Amount: $59,760

The City of Missoula built a coalition of partners to plan for and collaborate on a permanent supportive housing project for homeless people in Missoula. This project developed strong partnerships, cultivated community leadership, and built a plan to identify and track the impact people who frequently use emergency systems. The Corporation for Supportive Housing led the planning effort. The partners developed a method that uses data integration and hospital analysis, along with community resources and program coordination, to drive investment in supportive housing. The project achieved its goal of giving community service providers guidance in identifying cost-effective ways to improve outcomes for vulnerable people by providing supportive services and secure housing.
