Hope, Healing, and Health in An Urban Indian Community

Project Term: 24 months; 2019-2021
Grant Amount: $150,000

The Indian Family Health Center (IFHC) will develop and implement integrated behavioral health services in their clinical and chemical dependency practices to serve the North Central Montana and Great Falls urban Indian communities. Funding will be used for internal planning, education, and identification of tools and techniques for developing and assessing the new integrated model of care. Through this project, IFHC will work to foster partnerships with local organizations as well as state and tribal partners. Technical assistance will be provided by the National Council for Behavioral Health. The project’s goal is to develop an integrated behavioral health framework that is relevant and sustainable for the American Indian communities being served.
