Montana Environmental Health Association Foundation

Project Term: 12 months; 2020-2021
Grant Amount: $10,000

The Montana Environmental Health Association (MEHA) will produce a study looking at the environmental health specialist (or “sanitarian”) workforce’s current status and future needs, including ways to improve recruitment and retention. MEHA is a nonprofit group of professionals who work to protect public health through monitoring and limiting exposure to health hazards in our everyday environment, including air, water, soil, and food. Grant funds will support a contractor who will work with MEHA to complete this study.
