Project Term: 24 months; 2019-2021
Grant Amount: $100,000
The YWCA Great Falls will complete a plan and develop permanent supportive housing in Great Falls. The YWCA Great Falls’ prior FUSE planning grant identified eight individuals who are homeless and frequently using high cost emergency, hospital, and other services. This project will prioritize housing vouchers and provide supportive services in scattered housing sites by piloting a system that coordinates supportive services and case management for the target population, with the goal of serving at least 10 people over the next five years. Grant funds will be used to support project coordination, piloting supportive services, and technical assistance from the Corporation for Supportive Housing. The previous MHCF planning grant allowed the grantee to establish partnerships among 20 organizations including government agencies, law enforcement, health, and a range of service providers.
