Looking Ahead to 2022

Happy New Year!

As we look ahead to this new year, we are deeply appreciative of the hard work and commitment of our partners around the state. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought intense challenges for all of you. Even though the pandemic continues, we are confident that with your continued partnership in 2022 we will continue making significant progress in addressing Montana’s most important health challenges.

We want to share with you our priorities for 2022 and what you can expect from us in the year ahead:

  1. We remain committed to supporting our current priority areas in the long term. These areas address significant health challenges that require long-term commitment if we hope to make a difference. We will continue our support through grantmaking and investing our staff’s time and expertise.
  2. We value our partnerships and recognize their importance. The progress we’ve made to improve health wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration of dedicated and innovative individuals and communities. We will continue prioritizing and investing in these relationships.
  3. We keep our eye out for new ways to support health. While our priority areas address many of the state’s most pressing health issues, we continually assess new opportunities to use our resources and expertise to improve health. One way we do this is through our annual call for proposals, which will open next month.

Thank you to our partners and the communities served by our programming for trusting us to journey through 2021 with you. You inspire our efforts, and we remain committed to supporting your work.

On behalf of the Montana Healthcare Foundation’s staff and trustees, we wish you a happy, healthy 2022.
